This letter is in reference to Jean DeKraker, CPA. I worked with Ms.
DeKraker in defending a Personal Representative of an Estate. Based
upon the allegations against my client, it was necessary to reconstruct
approximately seventeen (17) years of records to show that one of the
heirs had received all of her distributions from the Estate.
Although a great number of the records were lost, Ms. DeKraker was able
to reconstruct the Estate to show that my client had properly made all
distributions. Throughout the three day trial, Ms. DeKraker’s expertise
was critical in defending the Estate.
I
was extremely impressed with Ms. DeKraker’s dedication to understanding
the records and familiarizing herself with the Estate’s financial, tax
